Hello All,

What is alternative to use html label tag in JSF ...As my application needs to be 508 compliant I have to associate a label to each form element...how can I do that in JSF

Use h:outputLabel and use "for" attribute to associate this label to its corresponding element.

Awesome thank you... but how can we display a static field in JSF that is not editable but should be readable by screen reader(508 compliant)

Example:
First Name : John
Last Name: Smith

Same way you would in raw HTML. JSF's UI controls all pass those properties through.
