Hi,

I've set up our test box to start tomcat 6.0.32 as a service. It starts tomcat with no problems, but when I try to stop i get:

Could not stop the Apache Tomcat 6 service on local computer.

Error: 1053: The service did not respond in a timely fashion.

If I look at the event view, I see: timeout (30000 miliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the service.

This happens on Windows 2003 32bit and Windows xp sp3. The xp box is my local machine, and the tomcat install there has no apps, while the Tomcat on Windows 2003 has several apps. The behaviour is the same on both.

Any ideas / help would be appreciated.
