Struts 2 s:url and s:param tag question

Guys,

I have a jsp page in which I get a parameter from the request. I have a href on this page rendered using the s:url and s:a tags. I need to simply pass the request parameter that I get from the request on this page to the s:url. Any suggestions on this? Below is what I have:

<s:url id="url" action="exams" namespace="/content" >
  <s:param name="selecetdTab">The request.getParameter("hiddenTab") value should go here</s:param>
</s:url>
<s:a cssClass='tab-loader' href="%{url}" >My Link</s:a>
<a >Take me to the exam list!</a>

I tried using the model class but without any luck.
