I want to buy a tablet device but I can not decide if I need one. I have my office iPad(1G) and I am using it since almost a month. but still it does not feel like essential part of daily life. I bring it home everyday but I don't use it, rather I don't feel like I really need to use it. so I would like to ask you guys if you have one and if so then how often do you use it, where do you find it useful? Please share your experience.

PS:- I don't have smart phone either.

My iPad is used all day long:
  • In the morning it's my alarm clock
  • At work I use it as my Engineering notebook
  • And as a general note-taker
  • and calendar
  • and weather checker
  • and it's what I bring to meetings for surfing, email, and displaying presentations with Keynote
  • Back at home I use it to play games
  • and watch TV from the patio
  • and surf and email and so on
  • It's also my e-reader for both technical and leisure reading

  • There are a bunch of other things I do with it, but that's the list of stuff I do with it daily.
He does not suffer fools gladly. But this tiny ad does:
