hello,

I am receiving null values from my Action class to my JSP page.

When I check for those values in my Action class (Using System.out.println) , I can see those values displayed in the console.
But when I display them in my JSP page it shows 0 or 0.0 for int and double values.

Can anyone please tell me what am i missing?

Thanks in Advance
Kashwini

Hi Kashwini,

I guess your concern does not fit into Hibernate category. I would suggest to move this to the appropriate category to get quick answers and also make sure you provide some more details about your issue.

When I check for those values in my Action class

Are you using any framework (Struts or...)?
But when I display them in my JSP page it shows 0 or 0.0 for int and double values

How do you place those values to be used by JSP? And how you use them inside the JSP?

hello,

Thanks to both of you.

I am using struts framework along with hibernate and jsp.
Should I move my post to JSP section?

I changed my JSP page (for debugging purpose) and used <Logic:iterate> tag and the values were displayed on the page in the table format.
I guess this is JSP related issue as I am able to retrieve values in action class.

Can you please let me know the procedure to move the post to different category?

Thanks in Advance
Kashwini

That can be done by only a Bartender or other authorized volunteer...

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
