Hi Guys,

Can anyone point to an e-commerce open source? Specifically, I'm looking to build a shopping cart for a restaurant (a coffee shop) and wonder if anyone has any idea of where to start.

Thank you!

Haven't used one myself, but shopping cart java yields a lot of promising-looking results.

you have notmentioned technology to be used for eCommerce application.
Assuming since you have used Javaranch to post your question, you are looking for Java based eCommerce solution.

You can use BroadLeaf Commerce solution (http://www.broadleafcommerce.org/). It is an open source Spring MVC based ecommerce tool. By the way , this tool has sample Coffee/Restuarant application which can be a very good point to start.

How about OpenCart?
It's a awesome open source e-commerce software to start an online store.
You can see a blog about "How to start an Online shop? " in this link.
Moreover, there are a lot of Free OpenCart Themes also
