I am new to this forum. I am preparing for SCEA. I saw in other threads that, after october 1, we need to attend instructor led mandatory course for the certification. I want to know when it becomes mandatory? Is it mandatory for Part 1 exam or Part 2 or its mandatory only if we need final completion certificate after part 3? Any insight is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
I have passed my Part 1 this week and I have a question on the Part 2 and 3. If i submit the Part 2 by end of Aug when can i expect the result of this part 2? or what If i submit the assignment by middle of Sept and if i dont hear about my exam result before Sept 30th still do i have to attend the traning?

There are so many variables in this that it is impossible to say. To give you an example of some variables I can think of:
how soon after submitting part 2 do you take the part 3 exam?
how long does it take for Pearson Vue to combine parts 2 and 3 to pass onto an assessor?
which assessor does it go to? (different assessors work at different speeds)
how big is the backlog for the assessor?
And so on.
Note: You have not mentioned taking part 3 in your question. Remember that you must take part 3 before they will begin grading part 2. You may have trouble scheduling your part 3 exam around the end of August, as there is likely to be a large number of people also trying to schedule their part 3 exam for SCEA and part 2 exam for SCJD at this time. I understand that the current rules are that you cannot schedule part 3 until you have submitted part 2, so that may also cause delays. Similarly the assessors may get overwhelmed with submissions from the end of August through to the end of September.

My reading of the Oracle guidelines is that you will not have to attend the training as long as you pass. However this is just my reading of the guidelines - I do not make any definitive statements on this.
Oracle have very explicitly stated that you should not expect to get the results back within 4 weeks, and therefore if you wait until the end of August (I think they say mid August) to submit, there is a good chance that you will not find out your result until after the September 30 deadline. If you happen to have failed, you will have to resubmit after the deadline, which means you will have to take the mandatory training.
