the code below extracts the body of message, next i will need to store the output in database.

I'm assuming that the code above is JavaScript. If this is true, then that raises the question - where is the JavaScript being executed? The normal executor of JavaScript is each individual user's browsers. Where is the database then? Also in the browser? If not - do you need to rethink your strategy?

Disclaimer: I didn't see a question from you, so my post may be totally irrelevant to anything you need.

This is java app extracting the body of message using a server, an app, and a client. I saw this example on mozilla.org, and it should work, but I am checking with the author. I will need to send the data to a database with a jdbc/odbc connection. Any input would help with this, and that is why it is not in the form of a question.

Java != JavaScript.

To me it is unclear what you want. It might help if you try to explain what you want to happen and refer to certain points in your code.
