Decided to create a new topic or I might be banned soon!

Anyway..

When I book a hotel, do I need to update the date too?

It seems that all the hotel have dates that have pass already. Does it mean the user can't book them even there are no customer ID?

I am confuse with the date field and how is it related to booking function, can someone kindly explain to me please?

I don't think someone was banned for that... But we appreciate if you create a seperate topic (with a meaningful title) for different questions. It makes the forum easier to maintain and other ranchers with a similar question can easily find your thread through the search engine or based on the topic title (when they navigate through the pages).

Did you have a good reading of the instructions (and do you understand them), because you are asking a lot of questions which are very well explained in the instructions you've got. To book a room, a CSR will search for a room and then book it by simply providing the customer id (an 8 digit number) in the appropriate field. The database file (or a record cache) should be updated accordingly of course. So you don't have to do anything with the date. And when the customer id field is not empty (already filled with a customer id) this room is already booked and can of course not be booked anymore.

The date field is simple the night the room is available. And yes, all these dates are in the past, but that doesn't matter, it just indicates how old these assignments are already

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
