Hello,

I was requested by manager to install some product in our development environment. I am newbe to Java world, but can intall some thing if it have instruction, installed Tomcat 6.0.

I noticed some warning in installation guide:
Please also note that at runtime, the default trust manager instance of Tomcat, which is valid throughout the process, is exchanged for a trust manager that does not validate the certification chain. This means that the certification path of server certificates is not checked when HTTPS connections are set up but are generally assumed to be valid.
Since the altered trust manager instance within the general Tomcat process has global validity, you should not run other web applications in the same Tomcat process if these require the security functions of the default trust manager or when these make use of a trust manager.

What is the mean of process in this sentence? (in windows OS)
And what should I do if I need to install other application, which rely on default trust manager, on the same machine?

With Regards,
Sergey.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
