I want to write a VNC Client for RealVNC running in one of our servers. I found the TightVNC source code which is under GPL license.
Do I need to write a fresh VNC Client or is there is any site available that gives us source code or even a libVNCClient that I can use with my proprietary application ?

Do reply me as fast as possible...

Thanks in advance

Please EaseUp.

I checked out UltraVNC but that's GPL as well. You could try to find something on SourceForge.net.

I tried Sourceforge also in the beginning itself before posting , but my efforts in vain.
Also do let me know if you can find the documentation for RFB Protocol version 4.0 in the web. Send me the link.
Cause I'm able to get the documentation only for RFB Protocol version 3.8.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
