java.sql.SQLException: Callable Statements not supported

Hello, I have this function which calls a stored procedure

public void callProcedure()
	{
		try 
		{
			if(procOutput == 0)
			{
				proc = con.prepareCall("{call insert_info(16,'Prashant',1)}");
			}
		}
		catch(Exception e)
		{
			System.out.println("There was some error while making Prepared Call. \n Error Descrption: "+e);
		}
		try
		{
			proc.execute();
		}
		catch(Exception e)
		{
			System.out.println("There was some error while executing Stored Procedure. \n Error Details");
		}
		finally
		{
			System.out.println("Stored proc successfully executed");
		}
	}

executing this function gives me this error:

There was some error while making Prepared Call.
Error Descrption: java.sql.SQLException: Callable statments not supported.

Please help !!

Hi Shantanu,

Can you provide more details? What is your database vendor and version? What are you using for connection jdbc, odbc, oci and version of your driver?
