Hi Ashwin,

Struts2.0,Spring3.0 and JSF2.0 along with ORM frameworks Hibernate and iBatis are good choices.

Thanks

Architecture by itself can be split into many sub-domains

1. Test architect
2. Data architect
3. Application architect
4. Systems architect

What is it that you think an architect does ? What do you want to do ? It usually takes several years of experience for an architect to be successful.

You have mentioned more than one framework. That is definitely interesting.
What about EJB. How about learning Ant Scripts. I hope at some point, there would be a need to write scripts as well

Right now my Role is Developer, so definitely i would progress and work towards becoming an Application Architect. And definitley i know its not a overnight thing. it needs years of work and understanding.

HI,

About EJB, I am not very much aware of it.

Ant script is not any frameworks its a tool used in building the project. So its good to have knowledge about it and also you can utilize your knowledge in building the scripts for
deploying your applications.

Thanks
