Hi all,

I'm new to this forum but loving it already, there seems to be a great buzz about the place!

On to my question.... I've been using Java for the last 5 years at work and I've finally gotten round to getting some certification funds out of my employer. I have seen on various posts that some people are studying between 4-7 hours a day in preparation for the exam. I'm doing the official Oracle instructor led course (5 days), do I still need to be doing 5+ hours a day in preparation for the course/exam? Do people go on this course without reading K&B and still pass?

I'd love to hear from someone that has been on the ILT course and hear what they think!

Thanks!
