Griffon support for JavaFX 2

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Griffon uses Swing underneath, so I guess it should support JavaFX 2 components/APIs out of the box? Or is there some work arounds to be used for supporting JavaFX 2.
If GroovyFX and Griffon can coexist then we can use GroovyFX for JavaFX 2 support.

This is something that Dean Iverson (@deanriverson on twitter) can answer with full disclosure as he is the one working on a JavaFx 2.0 plugin for Griffon.
In short, yes it's possible to use GroovyFX and Griffon together but I can't say any more yet as I don't want to steal Dean's thunder.

Cheers,
Andres

Yes, the first release of my Griffon/JavaFX/GroovyFX integration should be ready real soon now. I'm measuring in days, if not hours at this point.

I'll tweet a link (@deanriverson) as soon as it is ready.

Thanks a lot for the clarification. Let me wait for Dean to tweet the release
What do you have in that there bucket? It wouldn't be a tiny ad by any chance ...
