Spring web flow: Not proceeding from first page to second page

I am writing a web flow. the first page could be displayed using the /loginForm.htm url given for the Login controller. Once I fill the login page and click on submit, it is not moving to the second page. No message is being displayed on the console. Please kindly look into it.
