Tomcat JDBC driver forcibly unregistered

I added richfaces 4.0.x in maven dependency after deploying my war I am getting the error



I am trying to use richfaces in my JSF application. How to resolve this?

The error has most likely nothing to do with the JDBC driver; that's just a message that the web app can't be shut down properly. If you want to avoid it, unregister the driver at shutdown time, possibly through a ServletContextListener.

To learn about the actual problem that prevents the web app from starting up, check the other log files.

DriverManger.deregisterDriver would do that, but you needn't worry - as the message says, it's been done for you. The actual problem is elsewhere.
