Hey guys,

Making a java web start application, which generates a tray icon and has an about button from there that shows a nice pretty about dialog. This is perfect for windows. However, I want this to be usable on the mac as well. So the tray about dialog is created fine, but.... Mac generates its own native menu bar for each application, I can specify the title of the menu bar from the jnlp file, but I can't figure out how to change the "About title" button that is under that menu that takes me to an ugly mac created about dialog that is inconsistent with what I've made for the tray icon.

Any tips on where to start would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Start here: http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/MacOsxFaq, particularly the article "Tailoring Java Applications for Mac OS X". The "OSXAdapter" code sample linked on the same page helps with the menus.
