hello all,

iam new to hibernate.can hibernate can be used with struts.

struts makes not assumptions on your persistance layer. you can use whatever you want, hibernate is a good and common choice.

i want the exact use of hibernates,i thought it will be used for complex applications,but i dont know exactly.
can anybody help me?

This is too general a question to answer effectively. I'd suggest you just go to the Hibernate home page and start reading about it.

If you have specific questions about Hibernate, the best place to post them would be in the JavaRanch Object Relational Mapping forum.
