Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to detect an image on a webpage for example 1.gif (from a website table)

and then write the word low in a notepad or in excel.

If you open the source of a webpage, do you see anything that could be of use?

What do you have so far, and where are you stuck making progress? If you haven't started, what ideas have you had?

so far i was able to import the table into excel using the web query function.

Idea 1: detecting the image eg 1.gif will reflect in the table as Low

Idea 2: Goto each hyperlink automatically search for the work Low and paste in the cell

Frankly I think Idea 1 makes more sense. But I have no idea how to do it.

Thanks

A library like HttpUnit makes it easy to access web pages programmatically and inspect its content.
