Hi ,

I came across a situation where I am retrieving records from the database into a collection and provide the data requested by the user from the collection.

Given the scenario and with some knowledge of .NET,
I was wondering if there is any thing in java equivalent or on similar basis of the Language Integrated Query(LINQ) in .NET?

As far as I know I dont think there's anything similar in Java. But I think other JVM based languages like Scala or Groovy or some other JVM based language might support it as a DSL to write SQL queries.

I was googling around and found this: http://www.querydsl.com/ And I thought this is closely how LINQ facilitates query creation.

Thanks.
That seems to be really good.
I'll play around with it a little and find out.
