Technical skills: 2 yr Message Broker, 5 yr SQL/DB2, 2 yr MQ, 2 yr MF Services to web. 2 yr chng mgmnt tool (Harvest/ClearQuest). Analysis and Design Skills
Preferred Technical skills: Knowledge of Cobol OO Methodology, Experience on Mainframe to code and debug, JCL experience to create jobs, DB2 performance tuning

Other Skills: 3 yr of JAVA Development, 3 yr writing experience such as: technical specifications, status reports and design documents, 3 yr developing / supporting business applications. Position is responsible for providing Message Broker tech expertise/support w/n assigned sys unit/area. Develop relationships & integrate activities w/ sys depts to ensure successful impl & support of project efforts. Collect & analyze business & system reqs for medto lrg projects. Identify conflicting sysintegration issues, suggesting alt solutions. Develop & maintain good relationships w/ systems colleagues to meet service levels. Formulate & define appl scope & objectives & devise & enhance procedures to solve business problems of a complex to highly complex nature. Prepare detailed specs from which programs will be written and design, code, test, debug & doc programs. Monitor & report to mgmnt the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals & implementing corrective actions.
