Hi,

I need to find out the version of Spring in the project.
The project has a jar : spring-webmvc.jar

How can I do this.
I want to know if it is spring 2.0 or spring 3.0.

Its definitely not spring 3.0, because from 3.0 onwards, spring team has split the jar into individual modules, like, web module will be, org.springframework.web-3.0.x.RELEASE

For jar files. If you unzip it locally, then go into the META-INF directory and open the manifest file. Typically the version is in there.

You might have already knew the version - but just to add here - there is a two line program available on net (just google it) which gives you version of spring used.
