I have this jar file which every time I sign the jar file name is prepended to the signed fully qualified class name. The jarsigner command I'm using is:

jarsigner -verbose -keystore mykeystore -signedjar c:\tmp\signed.jar -storepass my_store_pass unsignedjar.jar cert_alias

the classes in the signed jar MANIFEST.MF appear listed as:

Name: unsignedjar/com/pk1/myclass.class

unsignedjar shouldn't be prepended to this name, it should look like:

Name: com/pk1/myclass.class

This only happens with this file. It was a 3rd party JAR that had certificate problems so I removed the old manifest, .sf and .rsa files and tried to resign it myself.

I don't see anything in the manifest or flags passed to jarsigner that may be causing this issue. Any ideas?
