Hi,
I am planning to do the OCPJP(SCJP) exam soon. I have found one book through the AMAZON but it shows that they publisheed the book 1st of Aug 2008.
"SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide (CX-310-065): Exam 310-065" by Katherine Sierra and Bert Bates.
<http://www.amazon.co.uk/Certified-Programmer-Study-Guide-CX-310-065/dp/0071591060/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t>;

Is that book sitll valid for my exam preparation? Please need you guys support?

thanks

Hey Tim, Welcome to the Java Ranch.

The one you have got is a very highly recommended book for SCJP preparation. However, there have been a few changes in the topics to be covered for the exam. Have a look at the below link.
