There is no need to study "Head first java".At the first you need to study only "SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Exam 310-065" by By Katherine Sierra, Bert Bates", after sound study of this book you can go for "OCP Java SE 6 Programmer Practice Exams".best of luck

Hi Rumesh,

"SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Exam 310-065" by By Katherine Sierra, Bert Bates" is the recommended book to study.
Also after going through this book try to find "OCP Java SE 6 Programmer Practice Exams (Exam 310-065)" book to practice the exam.
This book have 4 practice exams.

Regards,
Dilan Alex.
