hi
can we access ( edit ) the cell content of an excel file directly by mentioning ( row(int), column(string) ) through POI in java.

Do we have any such function ?

Since in excel sheet rows are mentioned in integer such as 1,2,3 etc and columns are in Strings such as Column A, B, C, AB, AC etc. Thats why i have mentioned ( row(int), column(string) ) here.

Or if we have any other way of accesing, by mentioning row and column ..please post the answer.

Thanks and Regards

POI uses numerical indices for accessing both rows and columns. The examples on the POI web site show how to do this.

Do the next thing next. That’s a pretty good rule. Read the tiny ad, that’s a pretty good rule, too.
