I purchased the Cade, Sheil book for the Amazon Kindle. The diagrams in Chapter 9 for the example assignment (diagram 9-3) are too blurry to read both on the Kindle v3 reader and the Kindle cloud reader in the chrome desktop browser. Zooming in on the image in the Kindle does not improve the image. It is totally unreadable, yet probably the most important part of the book for preparing for this exam.

Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution (besides purchasing another copy in print of the book)???

Thanks!
Kimo

I have given up attempting to read technical books on my Kindle for this exact reason. I think the book comes with 30 days free access on Safari so maybe you can use that?

The Safari online version of this book has diagrams with much better resolution than the Kindle in case anyone is contemplating buying the ebook version of the Cades book.

I can't find anything on the amzon site that refers to the free access to Safari. Otherwise, I'll have to purchase another copy on the Safari site.

Kimo,
The last page of the paper book gives the free time limited access to Safari. Not sure if the Kindle one does, but no harm in checking the last page.

Nope, nothing on the last page on the kindle version about access to Safari.

I would just recommend buying the Safari version to start with since you can read it in any web browser.

Thanks,
Kimo

Safari do a general free trial for 10 days, it's not much but may be enough for you...

Will, thanks for the info.

Since I've read the book text on the Kindle, the free trial would give me access to better resolution (readable) diagrams, especially those in chapter 9, so I could get by with the trial access.

Thanks!
