Hey Guys,

I am new to Android development. I am looking for a good book for beginner. I went through Android FAQs and sorted out few books.

  • Hello, Android: Introducing Google's Mobile Development Platform (Pragmatic Programmers)
  • : Last edition : August 4, 2010

  • Professional Android 2 Application Development (Wrox Programmer to Programmer)
  • : Last edition : March 1, 2010

  • The Busy Coder's Guide to Android Development
  • : Last edition : February 6, 2009

  • Android in Action
  • : Last edition : February 4, 2011

If you guys have used any of this books or any other good books, please suggest here.

    Thank you.

I only know Android in Action, and that's a decent book. Anything from 2009 predates Android 2, and should be considered obsolete. The https://coderanch.com/how-to/java/AndroidFaq page lists a few more books.
Not so fast naughty spawn! I want you to know about
