Web service not functioning when tomcat retarts

Hi,

I created a web service using axis2 1.5.1 which updates data from a desktop application to a server side db in Java.

But when the application server - tomcat 6 - stops or restarts , the web service stops functioning. I am new to web service.

Could anyone help me on this.
