Installing APK from SD Card

I want to install apk present on the SD card. I am using the following code to achieve it

Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
        intent.setDataAndType(Uri.fromFile(new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory() +  "Sudoku.apk")), "application/vnd.android.package-archive");
        startActivity(intent);  
        

But on executing it , it shows Parsing error : There is problem parsing the package.
