Returning to the calling page

Hi all I am wondering if there is any easy way to return to the page that calls an action after the action has completed, such as a person trying to add items to their personal selectiongs before being logged in. So I would like to be able to have them find and select something and then being presented wtih the login screen fill in their info and then be returned to the page that they were working on. Is there any easy way to do that without making indiviualized paths for each possible input page ?

I'd suggest saving the last accessed JSP in the session and then dynamically creating an ActionForward to forward to it after the login. Example:

String lastJspPath = (String)request.getSession().getAttribute("lastPath");
ActionForward forward = new ActionForward(lastJspPath, false);
return forward;
