i am doing struts application where i want to dispaly list of admins

Q1)Is it neccessary to specify form bean?
q2) Can i use jsp:useBean? tell me some another alernative?

Change the following line of your java code

req.setAttribute("ad",admin);

TO

req.setAttribute("admin", admin);

hi,

yes, this is not necessary to use form bean...but why you are not using form bean...is there any special reason??...i dont think so, because you are violeting struts rule there...
anyways if you are not using form bean , take admin object in your jsp page and get it from request. use below code


but if you are using struts ....this is not the right way ......
better use form bean and take setter getter for Admin and set it in action class and iterate it in jsp....
