Hi,

Does anyone have a script to export Enterprise Architect's content to HTML?
I have a power shell script that works sometimes, and i cannot figure out why it fails other times. When it fails there is not error message it just hangs there. Looking at the properties of the file it is exporting to it slowly increments, I've left it running over the weekend and it never ended. When it does work I think it took 15 to 20 mins (do not remember exactly).

The power shell script would
UNC to a location
delete a folder (sometimes it hangs doing that)
Recreate the folder
Open EA
Open the project
Use the projects GUID to run a HTML report
Write the write report to the folder
Close the project
Close EA

It fails more than it works I think i got it to work twice.

Any ideas?

Its too rare for 'machines' to behave that way. Given the same environment, same conditions, they would mostly work the same for same instructions , all the time, unless they are designed for some special purpose. Frankly, I did not get what EA is, do you mean EJBs? what is UNC is about?

Hi,

EA is Enterprise Architect by Sparx System http://www.sparxsystems.com UNC is Universal Naming Convention, the format for a UNC path is \\server\volume\directory\file and is not case-sensitive
