rectangle curve border is hidden because of div tag

Hello,

i am creating css for a web page basically i have a blue background(image1) and an a white image(image2) on top of the image1. I need to put curve border for image2 so i am using this tag:


However when i move the svg tag it is hidden by the other div tag.

Any suggestions please?

Why aren't you using border radius for the curved borders?

Hello,

I tried to use radius but the feature is not supported in browser ie 8, it is for ie 9. I need it to workfor version ie6 to ie8.

Any suggestions please.
