What does it mean when the compiler doesnt allow me to type anymore

I gave the Command prompt code to compile, and now it doesn't give me the usual "C:\Users\Mark Donner>"

Any idea why this would happen

nothing, and it wont allow me to type anything

Sounds like it might be executing your command.

How many classes are you compiling? Do you have any idea how long it would take? Can you tell us the exact command you're entering?

Are you sure that is the compiler? You may have executed an infinite loop.
