Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums and I wanted to start by letting you all know that I'm happy to have joined a Java forum, I've been wanting to for a while since I am really getting into it, it's just the other forums I have joined have moved very slow. Hopefully this forum moves much quicker and can help me more! Thanks.

Here is the program that I have to complete by tonight. The thing is, I am a beginner and I have been placed in a faster moving Java class. I'm not sure I know how to complete this program, let alone start. I just want some guidance and maybe someone to walk me through it, I would much appreciate it!

The program:

I have to implement a DrawTrain program. Further, I will move the train horizontally in the direction of the engine (right to left) at least 100 pixels.

The requirements:

Please let me know if you can help me or where to start! I am very lost. I am trying to read my textbook as I speak.

I am not sure what you expect right now.
1. This Forum is not a code mill.
2. We (or at least I) got no idea what exactly your problem is.
3. We don't know what code is there already.
Give us all needed things and we might help.

Hi, I'm sorry. Here is what I have so far.

What I am stuck on is creating the drawSmokestack(), drawCab() and drawCowcatcher() method. I then have to also create the drawCaboose() method after I get the drawEngine() method completely finished by using decomposition for the helper methods previously listed.

This is what the train is to look like.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
