unable to open the service tomcat 7,

I'm trying to start tomcat in vista but keep getting access denied, unable to open the service tomcat 7, what should I do?

1. Exactly how was Tomcat installed?
2. Exactly how are you trying to start Tomcat?

You can also start tomcat by the command line. cd to the tomcat installation\bin directory. Then you should be able to just type startup.bat.

You may have to open the console as an administrator.

If you get this error while starting the system .you can go to the msconfig.msc and disable the Apache common from the start up.

Another way is you can Right click and run as the administrator.

Thanks Esaki muthu. That was the point... just runned as administrator and everything goes ok.
