Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to thank everyone in the forum for all the insightful posts. I lurked on this forum occasionally when I was studying for the Part I multiple choice, and then frequently during the long wait.

Also, I frequently checked in on Oracle's certview and Pearson Vue's site, felt like being in a line at the amusement park that never seems to move and no way of knowing how many twists and turns the line takes.

At any rate, I finally got the good news email on October 6th, and then a FedEx envelope about 2 weeks later containing my physical certificate and card.

I will have to admit, despite the frustrations of the long wait, Oracle's OCP team was very responsive and courteous, and I do appreciate their position.

I wrote up my experience on my blog: http://www.philiptenn.com/2011/10/oracle-certified-master-java-enterprise.html. It includes my timeline.

Sorry to hear that some people have been waiting months. :-( I waited about 2 months, and I know that felt like an eternity.

Best wishes to everyone for speedy and positive results.

Thanks,

Philip Tenn
