I'm not sure what the "SM" on the hat means. Personally, I think it should have a Cardinals hat, but I'm probably biased.

Baseball in the US is popular all season (April until October) with a small fraction of the population. Then for the World Series, lots more fans pay attention. Of course, in Baseball, the "world" is the US and one city in Canada.

I'm sure that there are more cricket fans in India than Baseball fans in the US

"Baseball" has 16 teams in the U.S.

I don't know what exactly they play in the American league, but any game with a DH is NOT baseball...

To misquote P G Wodehouse badly,

Baseball is a game played only by girls under the age of twelve in this country.

I added "of Baseball" to the tooltip, for our hot dog, apple pie and Chevrolet-challenged friends.

I thought it might mean "Seattle Mariners" but after 30 seconds of googling I found that they only have an "S" on their hats. (Most of that 30 seconds was occupied in waiting for the Mariners' web site to load.)

Now this is great. The World Series is going to the 7th game. Nothing like a tied series with one game for the whole thing.

Last night's game was really good. I only stayed up until midnight East coast time - when the Cardinals tied it at 7-7. Heard the rest of the game was good too.

Cricket in india is a religion or we can say it is a secular sport of a secular country...we don't have any perticular season for it, We watch and play cricket from JAN-DEC ;) 50% people only watch it for sachin tendulkar.. ;) Yup probably it is 4-5 times than baseball ... we are more than a billion and we all only concentrate on cricket.. Very bad for other sports
