I want to build a Cascading Style Sheet attribute that will fill all of the text box with the background color, not just the text that prints in the text box. Now when I print a string in the text box the background color only goes to the last character of the string. Is there a way to set the Cascading Style Sheet attribute for a box to have the entire background of the box be a certain color?
Thanks,
M

.profitColor
{
background-color: #c1e950;
background-repeat: repeat repeat;
border-left: 1px solid #c1e950
border-right: 1px solid #c1e950
}

.lossColor
{
background-color: #FF907C;
background-repeat: repeat repeat;
border-left: 1px solid #ff907c
border-right: 1px solid #ff907c
}

.unCertainColor
{
background-color: #F0e68c
}

I want to have a loss cell be all red (even after the description text ends) and a profit cell be all green, etc.
