Friends,
I am doing a kind of model enhancement in the UML class diagrams by reading the .xmi file (exported through Argo UML) I would like you to suggest a good API for the purpose which has got a easy to learn documentation... please Help!!!

Have you tried searching Google? Just doing a search for 'Java XML API' returned several viable options'.

Well, a XMI file is not the same as an XML file. Sure, the syntax may be the same, but the elements obviously have special meaning. You could parse the XMI file as XML and then do the hard work of interpreting yourself, but Shalabh Goel is looking for a solution that does all the hard work.
