I got the error saying that

Internal server error()

ServletException:The retrieval for the bean is null

what is the cause for this? What is the solution for the above type of Exception in Struts1.1?

What I did is I created one action class.Next I created LoginForm with bean password and name.Then Login.jsp page is been created.But When I deployed the page ...Its giving the error saying above error.

thanks in advance

regards

Please provide the exact text of the error message you're getting along with the first few lines of the stack trace. It would also help if you show us the code in your action class, form bean, and JSP, as well as the portion of your struts-config.xml file that defines these elements.
