I have a GWT web app that connects to an LDAP server on port 386. It has a simple input box and when a user starts typing it returns selections in a list below the input box much like a Google search box does. The app works fine from my local host. It returns the suggestion names of those that the search string in the input box is %like. When I moved the app to a different server everything shows up as it should, but when the RPC call is made something goes wrong and no or bad data is returned from the LDAP. The new server is https: as opposed to the localhost server which is http. Has anyone encountered this? I am primarily a user layer programmer but I need help getting this working so I can continue to do what I need to do. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the Ranch.
With the (limited) information you have provided, most probably, somewhere in your code, you have assumed the the suggestion oracle will contain at least two entries. You might want to check that piece and put in a check for zero number of suggestions
