Hi Everyone,

I am new to this section. I would like to learn how to code and develop applications on the Android platform. I read here and there for what i needed to start off with! But could you guys help me out on some important links, books and tools that i would need to start off with?

I have already downloaded Android SDK and ADT plugin on my Eclipse Indigo. But i just cant seem to configure it on Eclipse. I get some version mismatch error.

If you scan through this forum, this question comes up quite often. The usual response is to check the Android FAQ (the link is at the top of the forum): http://faq.javaranch.com/java/AndroidFaq
