hi guys

I have been working in struts for almost 2 years now. I think its time to move on and upgrade myself to other frameworks which are popular in market.
I am assuming jsf is one among those.
This question is for any one who has made the transition from struts to jsf.
Is thre any benefit of learning jsf (assuming you have good experience with struts)?

which one is a better framework , struts or jsf?

any inputs greatly appreciated
thanks
Jay

The fact that there are so many Java EE Web Frameworks out there is a testament to the fact that developers vary in what they like and how they like to do things. Which framework is best for you is largely a matter of finding one that matches your development style more than the others.

This topic has already been discussed at length in this forum. Use the search facility, and you will find a number of threads discussing the comparative merits of various frameworks. Most of what I have to say on the subject can be found in this thread.
