please anybody tell me the details for appearing OCJP 6.0 and suggest me a nice book for preparing the exam

I would suggest you to Search in the SCJP Forum. (SearchFirst)

SCJP is renamed as OCPJP. Also you can get the Exam information from the Oracle Certification website.
