Is AbstractFacade annotated?

Is AbstractFacade with public access?

Is AbstractFacade with a public default constructor?

You have a problem doing the JNDI lookup for the EJB. Either the EJB didn't register properly, the URL you're providing the javax.naming JNDI lookup method call doesn't match the name that the EJB registered under, or there's some sort of blockage (such as a firewall) between the EJB client and the EJB registry server.
