emulator-5554 disconnected  RSS feed

I'm new in android .
i create a project but when i run it ,follow message was shown.
emulator-5554 disconnected
for solving this issue i did
1-reset adb in running time
2-enable wipe user data
but it doesn't work
i don't know what i do!!
(also i use ubuntu11.10)

While you didn't tell us where this message is shown, I fail to see what good either of the fixes you tried would do. Have you tried restarting the emulator?

I hope this help you

1. Open AVD Manager in Eclipse.
2. In Hardware, select New - Device Ram Size - and set to 512
3. Ok.
4. Start your application.
5. Enjoy

I am new to this Android world . When i am try to run the "HelloWorld" program, "emulator-5554" is lunching , and then its showing in the screen "ANDROID" , but no view !!! Console is giving " [2011-12-04 14:20:49 - Lab1] Waiting for HOME ('android.process.acore') to be launched....... " and then [2011-12-04 14:23:03 - Lab1] Failed to install Lab1.apk on device 'emulator-5554! '....... Please find me a solution .

what is restarting the emulator?
please explain for me..
