Hi all, got a question related to Java Sound. I hope anyone who is kind enough to help me out... I am quite stuck...

I have this AIFF file, which I can play and hear through my media player on my local computer.

I want to use Java Sound to play the file, so I have:

I ran the code above on my eclipse IDE. I didn't get any exception at all, but I just couldn't hear anything!!!

I have previously inserted some break points and ran it in debug mode and the flow seems to be ok line by line...

Am I missing something? Is there something I need to configure on JRE/eclipse? I checked that Java Sound supports WAV and AIFF format natively without any additional libraries required, so I thought the playback should be quite simple, but apparently it is not.

I thank every helper in advance!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
